DRAMA

Remy "El Diablo" Ramirez: The Devil. That's what they called him. A man driven to fight. He was more than a fighter: he was an animal. He was the executioner. Until he battered the life out of a Kim Soon Lim, man that he had learned to respect.

It was an accident. He never wanted to kill anyone. He just wanted to see another man suffer as he did. To see Kim Soon Lim die drove him to the point of insanity. He spends the next six years trying to escape the face of the man he killed.

For six years he ran, and wherever he ran, he created a trail of destruction. He repeatedly tried to kill himself, but never seemed to succeed. Finally he pays a stranger to destroy his own hands. The stranger, confused, crushes Remy's hands with a sledge hammer. Wrenched in pain, Remy passes out. He is found in a shack, rushed to a hospital, treated and released. Now, an aimless alcoholic, he decides to kill himself. He searches for Kim Soon Lim's grave. Drunk and frustrated he cuts his wrists with shattered glass from his wine bottle. On Kim Soon's grave he waits for death. His mangled hands are transformed to normal by some miracle. He becomes aware that his hands are not normal. These hands which once killed, now heal. This once tormented man in the ring will have mystical powers to give life. Remy's new powers will also plague him because man is not ready for the "Ghetto Healer Man."
